ARE YOU OUR FUTURE SALESPERSON?

The Camptocamp team is looking for a Sales Account Manager with experience in selling high-technology offerings and services to join us in Lausanne. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for selling Red Hat’s solutions and services to a customer base of strategic enterprise and mid-market companies within a defined territory (mainly in French-speaking Switzerland).

You’ll be responsible for building new relationships and expanding business with existing customers, as well as all aspects of the sale, including pricing negotiations, contract development, and order fulfillment. As a Sales Account Manager, you will manage internal resources, including sales engineering support and technical support.

YOUR PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Sell Red Hat’s offerings and services in your assigned territory or industry
  • Concentrate on new businesses and growth of the enterprise and  mid-market accounts
  • Understand customer issues and opportunities to map solutions and deliver outcomes
  • Meet quantitative and qualitative performance goals and set high standards for articulation and presentation of key messages and the Red Hat value proposition
  • Create strategic and tactical sales plans and guide the extended Sales team in implementing them to maximize revenue and growth
  • Meet assigned sales quotas by acquiring new customer accounts and renewing and growing existing relationships
  • Call on prospective customers, providing technical and administrative information, demonstrations, and price quotes for our offerings
  • Accurately forecast and close sales in alignment with company goals
  • Maintain a high level of business development activity
YOUR ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
  • Concrete sales experience with a demonstrated record of success, preferably in the software or IT industry
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing, computer science, or other technical discipline
  • Solutions sales experience in an environment with multiple offerings and services; experience with cloud services, containers,  virtualization, middleware, DevOps, or emerging technologies. Knowledge of Linux operating systems; passion for open source technology
  • Solid understanding of the complete sales cycle management from prospecting to closing
  • Understand customer issues and opportunities to map solutions and deliver outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, German skills are a plus
  • Willingness to travel regularly in French-speaking Switzerland and occasionally abroad

OUR INFRASTRUCTURE SOLUTIONS TEAM

Since 2007, our Infrastructure Department has been specialized in the allocation and automated management of Cloud resources, particularly through such services as Amazon AWS, Configuration Management with Puppet, Ansible and Terraform, as well as Container Orchestration with Rancher, Kubernetes and OpenShift. We have various strategic partnerships with Red Hat, Puppet and Amazon. Furthermore we are a member of the Linux Foundation and the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF).
